Well, it’s all Chiara’s fault, really. After 3 years complaining that she missed travelling we decided to buy a bus and hit the road. Aaron has been “convinced” (badgered, annoyed, harrassed etc.) by her Italian accent that travelling was the best choice for a quiet relationship.
So in October 2019 we sold the house, packed our life and our dog into a 1992 converted Hino bus.
Turns out it was the best decision ever.
We don’t need stuff to be happy and actually, even if all we own can fit into a bus, we still feel like we have too much.
If you are wondering how we can afford to travel full time, well we are wondering it too. But we decided we’d rather spend our savings to make memories, rather than on morgage rates and electricity bills. (And fuel to go to work, just so we can spend 9 hours a day working on someone else’s dream.)
